Elliott struggled in his first year with the Patriots

The Dallas Cowboys released Elliott after seven seasons in March of 2023 and the St. Native did not find work until training camp when he inked a one-year deal with the New England Patriots.

The Dallas Cowboys and Ezekiel Elliott were separated for a year but made sure the divorce didn’t last long. Averaging a career-low 3.78 rushing yards per game in 2023, Elliott who turns 29 in July finished with 642 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 184 carries (career-low 3.5 YPC) in 2023 for the New England Patriots.

Ezekiel Elliott had 12 rushing touchdowns in his final season with the team (2022) and can potentially be a goal-line option for the team.
