The Open returns to Royal Troon in 2024

The 152nd Open Championship will be held at Royal Troon from 14-21 July 2024, it has been announced.
The South Ayrshire links will host the Championship for the tenth time, having previously staged the event in 1923, 1950, 1962, 1973, 1982, 1989, 1997, 2004 and 2016.
Bobby Locke, Tom Watson and Henrik Stenson are among the past winners at Royal Troon, which is widely regarded as one of the toughest tests in golf.
