The ninth and penultimate Diamond League meeting of the season takes place at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels on Friday evening, with coverage on BBC Two, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app.

Brussels is one of the best athletics meetings on the calendar, with a strong field looking to utilise it as one of the last chances to impress ahead of World Championships selection.

The men's 100m includes Reece Prescod and Zharnel Hughes, while Daryll Neita will compete in the women's 100m, with Katarina Johnson-Thompson in the long jump and Holly Bradshaw in the pole vault.

Adam Gemili is aiming for back-to-back wins in the 200m, but will need to be at his best in a strong field which includes Aaron Brown of Canada, who clocked 19.96 seconds to win in Stockholm last month.

The women's 800m will be one of the standout events on show in Belgium, with reigning Olympic champion Athing Mu set to line up against world indoor champion Keely Hodgkinson, who will be looking to add another win to her impressive season.

Dina Asher-Smith is also set to line up in the women's 200m.
