Dave Legeno dies at 50

Dave Legeno, best known for his role as Fenrir Greyback in the Harry Potter series, has died at the age of 50.

Legeno was found dead in Death Valley National Park in California on July 6, 2014.

The cause of death is still under investigation, but foul play is not suspected.

Legeno is survived by his wife and two children.

Legeno's career

Legeno was born in London, England in 1963.

He began his acting career in the early 1990s, appearing in small roles in films such as Snatch (2000) and Batman Begins (2005).

He gained wider recognition for his role as Fenrir Greyback in the Harry Potter series, which he played from 2007 to 2011.

Legeno also appeared in a number of other films and television shows, including The Dark Knight Rises (2012), Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), and Game of Thrones (2013).

Tributes to Legeno

Many of Legeno's friends and colleagues have paid tribute to him following his death.

Daniel Radcliffe, who played Harry Potter, said: "Dave was a great actor and a wonderful man. He will be missed by all who knew him."

Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley, said: "Dave was a true gentleman. He was always kind and supportive, and he will be deeply missed."

Emma Watson, who played Hermione Granger, said: "Dave was a wonderful actor and a lovely man. He will be remembered for his talent and his kindness."
